One year since the launch of “Samoglas” – the first audio platform for books in Macedonian language

One year since the launch of the first Macedonian platform for audio books “Samoglas” which is available through the website www.samoglas.mk. Since December, Samoglas is also available through a mobile app that can be downloaded for Apple, Android and Huawei.

This platform has already collaborated with a number of publishing houses, embassies and NGOs in the region. So far, they have released more than 50 works available in audio format, and over 8000 users have registered on their website/app.

“We have been developing and expanding the Samoglas platform for a year now and we are very extremely happy to see such a positive response and heartfelt support from everyone who follows and listens to us. It encourages us to work even harder and to develop our initiative in new directions,” said Hristijan Pop-Simonov, one of the founders of Samoglas.

So far, they have collaborated with the Macedonian publishing houses “Ikona”, “Begemot”, “Templum”, “Anthologist”, “Ili-ili”, “Polica”, “Phoenix” etc. Apart from literary works, “Samoglas” has published educational content on women’s rights and gender equality in cooperation with Medusa, a publication on domestic violence in cooperation with the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association, a publication on mental health in cooperation with the association S.H.A.R.E. and sexual health for gay men in collaboration with the NGO HERA.
